This print originated as an extensive collection of experiments while learning the practice of songwriting, while at the same time the works of two new artists entered my life. Those artists were Chris Ashworth, who is compositionally focused, and Darren John, who is texturally focused.

With the new artists entering my life, it made me look at things differently, and I took an interest in how cropping an image can highlight specific details.

The scanned experiments consist of paint markers on paper, enhanced in photoshop, and then collated together in InDesign. The artwork is then printed onto a 300gsm stock, and sized at A3 unframed.
